Not only is Davis Brooks a great place to work, you will also find the opportunities, resources and support you need to grow and develop professionally.Essential Job Duties:
  • Listen to the customer’s description of vehicle symptoms to gather information on the nature of their vehicle’s mechanical problem/maintenance.
  • Complete walk around inspection and review prior service history to recommend additional needed service and preventative maintenance to the customer when appropriate
  • Create work orders, describing customer concerns to help technicians diagnose what repairs are needed
  • Maintain customer contact by explaining estimates and expected completion timeline
  • Obtain the customer’s approval for estimates and answer questions and address concerns the customer may have
  • Provide accurate quotes to customers and follow their repair orders throughout the day to keep the customer informed of the status of their vehicle repair
  • Maintain effective communication within the department and with leaders in the dealership; working together to identify opportunities and resolve issues
Characteristics and Qualifications of an Ideal Candidate:
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in a customer service position; experience in a service department in the automotive or a related industry is preferred
  • Exceptional customer service and verbal communication skills to develop relationships to ensure customer loyalty
  • Strong written communication skills to accurately detail customer concerns in each work order
  • Exceptional planning, organization and execution skills to effectively manage multiple demands under tight deadlines
  • The capability of working independently, managing your time and workflow and have the ability to work congenially with other team members
  • Valid Driver’s License
