Interested This is a great opportunity to work for a young and dynamic company!We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our teamWhat you can expect in this role:Reporting to the Manager of Financial Reporting, the Financial Analyst will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the month-end close process, quarterly financial statements, monthly internal management reporting as well as processimprovements, SOX compliance and other special projects.More specifically, here are some of the key responsibilities:
  • Activelly participate in the preparation of the month-end close process, including general ledger reconciliations and variance analyses; (35%)
  • Support the preparation of monthly internal management reporting including analysis of budget vs. actual as well as other KPIs; (15%)
  • Support the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS as well as related management discussion and analysis; (15%)
  • Proactively coordinate with the team and an external audit firm all work required for quarterly reviews and year-end audits (15%)
  • Assist in the design, maintenance and testing of internal control processes and systems; (10%)
  • Assist in other special projects, such as financing, systems implementations/integrations, ad hoc reporting requirements; (10%)
Heres the profile were looking for:
  • CPA designation or successful completion of common final exam
  • 3 years of working experience in a corporate finance/accounting department or with an audit firm
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite user (i.e., Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook, Teams, Sharepoint)
  • Bilingual, with excellent professional-level written English skills
