Job DetailsEn tant que technicien senior en assurance-qualité logicielle en poste à Brossard au Québec vous serez responsable d’exécuter des procédures de test sur des équipements et produits conçus par le secteur de la détection incendie de la Société Johnson Controls. Il sagit dune occasion unique de tester et améliorer les systèmes dalarme-incendie que vous voyez tous les jours dans les restaurants et les bâtiments que vous visitez.Vous ne voulez pas traverser un pont pour aller travailler Nous sommes situés sur la Rive-Sud dans une ville en plein essor avec un accès facile au Quartier DIX30, aux transports en commun (nous sommes juste à côté de la future plaque tournante du REM) et à un stationnement.Ce poste n’est pas ouvert au télé-travail. Votre présence au bureau du lundi au vendredi sera requise.Comment vous parviendrez à le faire

  • Exécuter les procédures de test et suggérer des améliorations
  • Soumettre des résultats de test avec de l’information contextuelle à l’analyste en assurance-qualité logicielle
  • Soumettre des rapports d’anomalies et valider les solutions proposées
  • Maintenir l’équipement et l’environnement du laboratoire
  • Vous soutiendrez et encadrerez vos coéquipiers et dautres groupes fonctionnels
  • Vous interagirez avec des personnes de différents services, et de plusieurs organisations situées partout dans le monde
  • Vous fournirez une rétroaction continue et répondrez aux besoins de nos clients
  • Vous perfectionnerez vos compétences en tout temps
Ce quil vous faudraPréalables obligatoires
  • Au moins 6 ans dexpérience ou une combinaison équivalente de formation et d’expérience
  • Connaissance des sytèmes de bas voltage, en particulier de sytèmes de détection d’incendie ou de sécurité
  • Capacité de communiquer clairement par écrit et de lire et comprendre les spécifications techniques produites par le groupe d’ingénierie
  • Connaissance des procédés d’assurance-qualité
  • Communiquer en anglais de façon orale et écrite
Souhaité
  • Connaissances des systèmes de détection d’incendie de sécurité ou de contrôle de climatisation de bâtiments
  • Expérience avec des outils de suivi de bogues et de contrôle des versions logicielles (Integrity, JIRA, Git)
  • Connaissance de languages de script (par exemple Python)
Job DescriptionAs a Software Quality Assurance Technician located in Brossard, QC, you will perform complex testing procedures on various types of equipment/product and collect and analyze the associated data for the Fire Detection business at Johnson Controls. This is an opportunity to test and improve fire alarm systems that you see in restaurants and buildings you visit every day!You don’t want to cross the bridge to go to work We are located on the South Shore in a booming location with easy access to Quartier DIX30 and public transportation (we’re right next to the upcoming “Réseau Express Métropolitain” hub) and parking.This position requires presence in the office from Monday to Friday. It is not a remote job.How you will do it
  • Execute test procedures and provide improvements
  • Submit test results and provide context to SQA analyst
  • Submit defect reports and validate proposed solutions
  • Maintain equipment and lab environment
  • Help to train or mentor others on the team
  • Interact with people in different departments, organizations, and in other locations around the world
  • Provide continuous feedback and to address our customers’ needs
  • Continuously improve your knowledge of fire alarm systems
What we look forRequired
  • 6 years minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Comprehension of low voltage electrical systems, specifically Fire/Life safety systems
  • Demonstrate evidence of strong writing skills as well as the ability to read and understand technical specifications produced by the engineering staff
  • Knowledge of SQA processes
  • Effective communication skills in English, oral and written
Preferred
  • Fire alarm systems or building systems background
  • Experience with defect tracking and versioning tools (e.g., Integrity, JIRA, Git)
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python)
