JOB DESCRIPTIONLaurus will be expanding our resources to a completely new virtual service for kids. We will provide creative, fun, and educational videos for children ages 3-15 focusing on topics such as arts, academics, and sports. We are looking for someone with a strong passion for creating who can film and edit these videos in a way that caters to children.RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to)
  • Creating and editing videos for our website as well as our social media platforms.
  • Must be comfortable with and have technical knowledge of all the aspects of video production including camera and audio set-up and operation, lighting set-up, filming, editing, and posting.
  • Must have the ability to offer creative and engaging ideas. We are an extremely collaborative team and ideas are more than encouraged.
  • Must have a strong understanding of our brand, messaging, and target audience.
  • Work directly and well with other team members.
  • A majority of our work will be centered on filming and editing fun and educational videos for kids ages 3-15.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • At least 2 years of experience with filming and editing
  • Experience with Adobe CC, especially Premiere Pro
  • Proficient with editing software (Premiere, Final Cut, After Effects)
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills
  • Highly organized and able to follow completion dates and deadlines
PREFERRED
  • Experience with animation
PLEASE NOTE that candidates able to provide portfolios or links to past work will be given preference.Job Types: Full-time, TemporarySalary: $14.00-$20.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
