With rapid adoption across North America, Europe, and Australia, cmBuilder is on a mission to democratize construction tech by making it more accessible, intuitive, and impactful.About the Role  Are you a motivated and ambitious sales professional looking to accelerate your career in SaaS sales cmBuilder is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing sales team. This role is critical to our growth, responsible for outbound prospecting, nurturing inbound leads, and booking meetings with decision-makers at top construction firms. The right candidate will have a strong foundation in SaaS sales, be hungry to learn, and see this role as a path to growing into a future Account Executive position.Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Generation: Execute outbound prospecting through cold calls, text messages, email sequences, social outreach (LinkedIn), and event follow-ups to create new sales opportunities.
  • Lead Nurturing: Follow up with inbound leads and event attendees to qualify interest and guide them toward demos.
  • Meeting Scheduling: Book and coordinate introductory calls and product demos between prospects and the sales team.
  • CRM Hygiene: Track and manage outreach activity, notes, and opportunity progression within HubSpot (or similar CRM).
  • Trade Showsamp; Events: Occasionally support in-person lead generation efforts at industry events and trade shows.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with sales leaders, marketing, and customer success to refine outreach strategies and share insights from conversations.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in a SaaS sales role (SDR, BDR, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed quota in an outbound sales environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Comfortable cold calling and initiating conversations with new prospects.
  • Coachable, resilient, and eager to learn from feedback and improve.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with HubSpot or a similar CRM is a plus.
  • Bonus: Experience in construction or construction tech is an asset.
BenefitsSalary, Termamp; Working Location
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $60,000 – $80,000 CAD annually
