Job Description

The HP Cloud Client team has established HP as the global leader in thin clients and a top supplier of endpoint software and management tools for enterprise IT departments. As our Cloud Client Software Product Manager, you will lead a cross-functional team responsible for defining and delivering breakthrough software experiences and capabilities for our cloud endpoints, including ThinPro (Linux) OS and Windows IoT solutions. You will gather deep customer insight and work closely with various teams, including engineering, marketing, sales, and support, to drive innovation, customer satisfaction, and business growth.Key Responsibilities- Product Strategyamp; Prioritization: Evaluate opportunities based on market research, competitive analysis, technology trends, and customer feedback to determine what gets delivered to customers and the features #39; priority- Requirements Gathering: Form a deep knowledge of the users and customers for the software products and their ecosystems- Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain software product roadmaps that align with internal hardware roadmap and external software vendors, ensuring the team allocates resources appropriately and achieves milestones- Software Agile Development: Familiar with software Scrum and Agile development processes. Familiar with JIRA and ADO tools and processes- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and other team members to deliver products on time and within budget- Go-to-Market: Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies, ensuring successful product launches and adoption- Communication: Prepare and provide regular updates about program progress, issues, and risks to key stakeholders- Feedback Loop: Establish feedback loops with customers and internal teams to continuously improve products based on feedback and performance metrics- Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics and make necessary adjustments to meet business objectives and emerging opportunitiesEducation and Experience Requirements- Minimum five years of experience in a software product management role- Understand agile software development models- Excellent presentation and communication skills- Software development experience prior to product management preferred- Experience with Linux, virtualization solutions, and or IT administration preferred- Experience working with customers and technical partners- Requires a BSEE/CS combined with 5+ years related experience or an MSEE/CS combined with 3+ years related experienceHP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:- Dental insurance- Disability insurance- Employee assistance program- Flexible schedule- Flexible spending account- Health insurance- Life insuranceOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets.
