On behalf of the President, prepares communications relating to sensitive labour relations matters and applies discretion and judgement for strategic messaging to the University community. Prepares communications/briefings for the Board on sensitive and confidential matters relating to personnel and labour relations. The role is responsible for researching and writing background, speaking notes, web content, reports, quotes, social media posts and other communication needs for the President. The role acts as the first point of contact for the Presidents communications materials, provides guidance on strategic messaging to others working on the presidents communication projects and represents Communications & Marketing to the university and the community.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, or a relevant discipline, with a minimum of four years of related professional experience in communications, marketing, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Experience participating in projects involving various stakeholders as the communications expert and providing expert advice on corporate communications matters to clients.
