The role works collaboratively with faculty, staff, programs, research centers, and institutes to conceive, develop, and distribute communications highlighting the achievements of faculty, students, alumni, and staff. The Coordinator conceptualizes and organizes events and conferences that help with recruiting new students, to raise the public profile and support the objectives of the Psychology Department. In addition, the position provides advice to potential and registered undergraduate students of the academic requirements for the Department of Psychology and the Cognitive Science Program in accordance with University, faculty, departmental, and program policies, procedures, and regulations. Reviews academic records and approves admission to Psychology and Cognitive Science programs.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related discipline with four years of related experience, including experience in writing, communications, event planning, and website design, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
