You will be responsible for coordinating, developing, and continually refining the Private Event Program through operational management and administrative projects, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of events from inception to completion. Through ongoing training and development, the Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in establishing a cohesive event team, all working towards the shared objective of delivering on-brand, captivating experiences. The Event Coordinator is sales-oriented, collaborating closely with the Event Manager to devise strategies for maximizing event space utilization and contributing to overall sales efforts.Responsibilities

  • Sales Program
  • Customer Relationship Management. Maintaining relationships with new and current event hosts to create repeat business
Driving Labour Targets
    • developing execution strategies to hit labour targets, working closely with the Event Chef to drive this area of the business in both the FOH and BOH
    • Recruiting, Trainingamp; Development
    • Recruitment, training and development of ratified event service team
    • Recruitment for the restaurant, contributing to overall selection for both regular service and event team
    • Planningamp; Execution of Event Experiences
      • Ensuring each event is planned and coordinated to ensure ease of execution in all areas of the business
        • Ensuring each event is planned and hosted with genuine warmth and care, creating on-brand, buzz worth experiences every time!
          • Implementation and training of new menu experience roll-outs
            • Working closely with the Event Operations Manager and Culinary Development Team to consistently provide feedback on experiences
            • Program Inspectionamp; Accurate Reporting for
              • Food cost
                • Microsamp; Crunch Time
                  • Sales, Profitamp; Labour
                  • Environment
                  • Rental/Vendor system in place for pickup/drop off efficiency
                  Vendor Program
                  • Development of vendor relationships resulting in bottom line profitamp; premium service for guests
                  Social Media
                  • Generating on-brand content to contribute to Event Program social media platforms.
                  Requirements
                  • 2+ years’ experience in restaurant leadership position an asset.
                  • 2+ years’ experience in live event planning and coordination is preferred but not required.
                  • Certificate/diploma/degree in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration and/or Hospitality Management is preferred but not required.
                  • Sales experience an asset .
