Job Description

Who we areHelps clients capture, transform and manage data leading to increased field to finish efficiency and profitability.Position SummaryThe SAP techno-functional analyst role is a bridge between business owners and SAP responsible for translating business processes/requirements into system functionality.In this role you will work with business teams to understand their needs and problems supporting them with guidance on current configuration and offering optimizations and solutions when necessary. For projects and system changes this role will collaborate with the business systems team to determine modifications/design of SAP, through to development, implementation, testing, and delivery to ensure the changes provide necessary functionality.We are seeking an individual with strong analytical and consulting skills who will partner with functional areas in the business to fully understand requirements and translate them into efficient, cost effective solutions. This position acts as an advisor to business users, proactively proposing system changes and innovations to improve efficiencies.You are responsible for the day to day support of SAP Material Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD) but will also be called upon to participate in projects. These projects range from functional enhancements to implementing new functionality, to full-blown implementations as a result of a merger or acquisition.You must have a strong understanding of the various integration points between the SAP module(s) they are supporting and the various other SAP modules.In this role, you will...In this role, you will...

  • Troubleshooting production issues.
  • Capture business requirements.
  • Help business understand system capabilities.
  • Define gaps between business requirements and as-is solutions.
  • Satisfy business requirements by (re)configuring systems (software).
  • Provide functional support and guidance to ABAP and other development team members.
  • Define test cases for solutions.
  • Testing and deploying solutions to production systems.
  • Effectively interact with business and technical team members to complete tasks.
  • Create documentation as required (functional specification, test scripts, business process, and end user documentation).
  • End-user training.
  • Deployment planning and execution.
  • Provide regular status updates on issues and projects
About you...
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science/related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience as an ERP Functional Analyst
  • Minimum 2 years of hands on user support, analysis, configuration, testing, and deployment with both MM & SD modules
  • Experience with Master Data Management or SAP Data Management tools
  • Experience in the following areas: Purchasing, Batch Management, Material Valuation, Inventory Management, and Vendor Management
  • Must have sound knowledge of transportation and shipping
  • Current SAP R/3 certification

  • Experience with middleware configuration and administration (data exchange, monitoring, error handling).
  • Experience managing data integration with external systems such as ecommerce or CRM.
  • Experience with full life cycle project delivery
