With the help of our team of Epic Humans, Libro pursues its purpose through four key pillars — employment, financial resilience, local food accessibility, and housing.To learn more about Libros vision, services, and community goals, visit our website .About the OpportunityWe are growing and currently looking for a Home Financing Advisor to support a portfolio in the Haldimand Norfolk market.With a strong financial and industry experience, you will focus on activities that maximize the development of residential mortgage business through new and existing customers/Owners in part by providing extensive knowledge to complex financing needs.More specifically, the scope of your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Providing advice and dedicated credit expertise to appropriately fulfill customer/Owner needsBuilding and nurturing relationships with customers/Owners in your areaDeveloping and expanding opportunities to attract new customers/Owners who value cooperative bankingEstablishing and building relationships with industry professionals and community contacts for on-going business developmentAdhering to applicable lending processes, policies, and regulatory requirementsAbout YouIn order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 5 years of combined customer service, sales, and financial industry experience , as well as strong understanding of local markets, business development and a determination to make things happen.A post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent is required for the role however, Libro may consider candidates that demonstrated success in relevant work experience. Previous experience in retail mortgage lending would be beneficial.As our ideal candidate, you follow effective sales strategies that are both persuasive and emphatic, by actively listening to the clients to assess their banking needs. You are effortless in gaining insights on pain points that you can present solutions to.Due to the nature of the role, you will need access to reliable transportation to conduct site visits with our customers/Owners.Lastly, Libros culture centers on operating for the benefit of our customers/Owners and employees.
