This role is crucial for ensuring smooth daily operations, enhancing user experience, and supporting our agile development processes. As a ServiceNow Platform Administrator, you will be at the forefront of troubleshooting, process improvement, and the deployment of new releases, playing a pivotal role in driving our platform #39;s success.Responsibilities

  • Incident Management: Monitor and triage incidents, effectively resolving them or escalating through our defined defect process. Your goal is to ensure minimal disruption to our services and maintain platform stability.
  • User Support: Respond to a variety of user requests, ranging from general inquiries and access issues to more specific platform-related questions, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Platform Health Monitoring: Keep a vigilant eye on the overall health of the ServiceNow platform, tracking and reporting on platform performance, to preemptively identify and address potential issues.
  • Licensing Management: Monitor, track, and report on licensing usage, ensuring compliance and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Release Implementation: Coordinate and implement platform releases in the production environment, aligning with our continuous improvement and deployment strategies.
  • Agile Participation: Engage actively in the Agile process, contributing to sprint planning, execution, and review to deliver high-quality solutions promptly.
  • Technical Committee Involvement: Serve as a proactive member of the ServiceNow Technical Committee, offering insights and recommendations to drive platform excellence.
  • Documentation: Assist in developing and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, manuals, policies, and processes to support platform knowledge sharing and best practices.
  • Patching and Upgrades: Coordinate platform patching and upgrades, ensuring the platform is secure, up-to-date, and performing at its best.
  • Agile Testing: Assist with the testing of Agile stories, focusing on those that impact core platform functionality, to ensure smooth and reliable platform operations.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of System Administration or development experience with ServiceNow.
  • Certification: Must be a ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrates a high degree of customer service and teamwork, with a proven ability to work collaboratively across various teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Exhibits a continual service improvement mindset, always seeking ways to enhance processes and platform performance.
  • Technical Skills: Some experience with JavaScript or another similar programming language, coupled with a strong desire to further develop technical expertise.
  • Superior attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new solutions applicable to the ServiceNow platform
