Job Description

Job DescriptionWhat you’ll do

  • You manage the operations of your store:
  • Establish a customer-centric mindset in store to ensure the highest level of customer experience.
  • Ensure sales targets are achieved in order to meet company objectives.
  • Ensure the understanding and compliance of all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform all financial activities efficiently and in accordance with company standards, including cash and merchandise handling and reporting.
  • Review hours worked and payroll used, ensuring accuracy and entry in timely and correct manner.
  • Communicate performance, corporate strategy and relevant business operations to the team.
  • Ensure opening/closing duties are properly completed.
  • Process POS (point of sale) purchases, exchanges, and returns of merchandise.
  • Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately.
  • Ensure all returns and damages are processed as per company policy.
  • Protect your store #39;s funds and property by conforming to and enforcing all loss prevention policies, procedures and controls, reporting any related concerns or incidents to the District Manager.
  • Prepare and execute physical inventories, ensuring all guiding principles are followed accurately.
  • Maintain regular and timely communication with the management team concerning all aspects of your store.
  • Maintain safety requirements to ensure safe working and shopping environments.
  • Support all in-store events ensuring they lead to achievement of objectives.
  • Perform additional related duties as needed.
You maintain the visual presentation of your store:
  • Maintain all visual merchandising standards, directives, promotions, and overall cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and stockroom.
  • Ensure visual merchandising is consistent with company standards and guidelines.
  • Execute and update floor sets in accordance with the planograms.
  • Ensure the sales floor is always adequately replenished with product and properly displayed.
You manage and develop your team:
  • Supervise team members, creating a positive and harmonious work environment and fostering cooperation within the team.
  • Actively participate in recruitment; identifying, interviewing, and hiring talent.
  • Ensure the successful onboarding of new hires.
  • Motivate your team to achieve and maintain high levels of performance and quality through consistent training, coaching and feedback.
  • Ensure all team members complete the training requirements as per company guidelines.
  • Actively assess the performance of the team, identifying and developing talent.
  • Communicate any team member concerns or issues to the District Manager.
