RoleReporting to the Field Area Manager, the Telecom Technologist/ Technician installs, manages and/or maintains equipment used to control and monitor systems, equipment, and processes. The Telecom Tech ensures these systems and processes operate efficiently, reliably and safely. They provide expertise for the conceptual design, programming and ensure substation integration to customer(s) NOC is performing properly. They also perform end to end testing on communication circuits for peripheral devices. At NERC critical asset sites, they ensure equipment and configuration meets CIP regulatory requirements.** This is a field-based role with approximately 80% of your time in the field.
