Job Description

Becoming part of the Naturally Pacific team will allow you to engage in the hospitality industry within an expanding company that values every individual #39;s input and celebrates achievements collectively.The RoleAs a key member of our team the Facilities Manager will be responsible for hands-on and administrative oversight and will work closely with the Hotel General Manager to create and setup the department. The Facilities Manager will be accountable for managing the budget, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in hotel maintenance.Your contributions to the team include:

  • Coordination, oversight, and implementation of preventative maintenance programs for guestrooms, public areas, and safety systems to include all documentation and record keeping, manpower, and scheduling.
  • Maintain awareness of BC Occupational Healthamp; Safety Act and Regulations and ensure they are integrated into the Naturally Pacific Resort and ensure industry best practices are adopted to minimize hazards in the workplace.
  • Support operations personnel when required and undertake additional duties as requested by Management.
A few things we are looking for in a new team member:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Tourismamp; Hospitality or Business Management.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a facilities management role.
  • Strong leadership skills and mature professionalism.
  • Knowledge of engineering and facilities management.
  • Highly organized and results oriented with the ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure; strong level of initiative required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • High level of ethics and integrity.
