Job Description

The Guest Services Agent has the important responsibility of being the front line interface with our guests. Competencies required include strong communication skills, teamwork, problem solving skills, maturity, accountability, dependability and integrity.Duties:

  • Welcome guests and visitors with a smile and engage in conversation.
  • Present a positive and professional image of SPL to all.
  • Help guests and potential guests dream, plan, book and share and re-book their adventure with accurate information on SPL and the region.
  • Respond to telephone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from guests, clients, other parties.
  • Where appropriate, sell the services and products of SPL; sign up new participants for SPL programs (WYLD, COLT, Experiences, etc.)
  • Takes guest reservations, computes charges, collect and post payment
  • Following Opening and Closing procedures including daily cashouts
  • Observes and reports any security issues to management
  • Adheres to all Covid-19 policies and procedures
Reports to: Guest Services ManagerDates: April to October, Seasonal full time, various start and end datesJob Requirements/Qualifications:Requirements:
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Fully vaccinated against Covid-19
Preferences:
  • Fluency in an additional language
  • Experience in the tourism industry with applicable diploma, certificate or degree
  • Financial literacy
  • Willingness to work afternoon, evening and weekend shifts
