Job Description

ISLAND OWL MAZDA is growing again and we are looking for a Lot Manager to join our fun and family-like atmosphere team in our busy Vancouver Island location. If you #39;ve got a passion for cars, and experience in detailing or vehicle inventory management, this could be a great opportunity for you!Responsibilities:

  • Keep lot crew on track – step in and wash cars and help when needed
  • Physical lot walk and audit
  • Keep lot and surrounding areas clean, organized and orderly
  • Online inventory upkeep
  • Audit inventory list and used/new listings on website
  • Ensure vehicles travel to Bodyshop, Like New and other dealerships/locations smoothly
  • Training and recruiting!
  • Lot inventory shuffle/clean up
  • Checking supplies
  • Weekly lot crew meeting
  • Budget reviews
  • Review schedule for lot crew
  • Review condition of vehicle on return score
  • Forecasting and goal setting
Requirements:
  • Be extremely organized
  • Pay close attention to detail
  • Be self-motivated
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Be able to work effectively against deadlines
  • Possess a valid British Columbia Driver’s License, ability to drive both manual and automatic transmission, and present a current copy of your driver’s abstract (ICBC driver’s record) for review
Wage:
  • $20 to $25 per hour; depending on experience
