ISLAND OWL MAZDA is growing again and we are looking for a Sales Manager to join our team in our busy Vancouver Island location. If you have a passion for the automotive industry, along with a commitment to service our customers, we want to talk to you.Responsibilities: Daily Duties:* Check in with the Salespeople and Finance Dept to see what leads/deals are being worked or need attention* Deliver any sold deals that day, clear vehicles off the website and get files to Controller* Monitor the website and social medias for accuracy, content and check for needed updates* Check on progress of trades going through service for recon* Confirm Salespeople are completing daily responsibilities via daily checkouts* Watch stock levels/buy vehicles to replenish* Mazda emails, bulletins, incoming units etc* Appointment confirmation* Inventory clerical work* Update inventory sheet* Training and recruiting!Weekly Duties:* Check inventory pricing online (Even two times a week is a good practice)* Connect with Patrick/Mazda on Monday for weekend business and Friday for Weekly Traffic Log* Check for any Mazda training and ensure Sales Team is up to date on theirs as well* Check on incoming unitsMonthly Duties:* Spiffs, targets, sticker board, sales ideasYearly Duties:* Forecasting/Goal Setting/Inventory PlanningRequirements:* Valid driver’s license, clean driving abstractamp; background check* At least 2 years Automotive Sales Manager experience* Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously to deliver exceptional customer service* The ability to motivate staff* Knowledge of the full sales cycle* Professional and friendly approachWage:
