Job Description

If youre looking for a for a growing, forward looking and safety-conscious metal recycling employer then come and join the Metalnecks Team!!Metalnecks Management invites you to join our dynamic team and to share in our ongoing success......Metalnecks is interested to hear from you for the following opportunities:1.) Class 1 with winch experience and;2.) Class 1 long haul experience. This position on top of the minimum hourly wage pays an additional amount of 40-cents/kmThe ideal candidates may be required to undertake other tasks within Metalnecks as part of the day - to - day duties (as required).These opportunities are based at our Camrose AB location.Job, Role, Responsibilities and Experience

  • Capable of loading/securing and hauling equipment not limited to scrap metal, farm machinery, oilfield equipment and more
  • Ensure that all government regulations are met and or exceeded
  • Understanding vehicle maintenance needs - able to undertake routine checks on trucks and and trailers, report repair requirements to on-site mechanic
  • Complete relevant documentation, complete logbooks, and other relevant record keeping as identified from time to time
  • Follow and adhere to all company safety policies and procedures
  • Act as an ambassador and with professionalism, and always have a customer first attitude
  • Be punctual and courteous with fellow workers, current and potential Metalnecks customers
  • Follow all legislation, respect customer premises/yards and mitigate any potential damage to customer yards (do not blocks access ways and park on grass pads) and equipment
  • Possess an eye for detail, organized, dress appropriately and at all times represent Metalnecks with the highest standards set by Metalnecks and the industry
  • This opportunity offers the right candidate plenty of growth opportunities within the company. Details of lateral and or upward growth will be provided at interview stage
  • 1-year verifiable experience operating a Class 1 operating experience
  • 1-year verifiable Super B experience will serve as an asset
  • Off road experience will serve as an asset
  • Have no more than two moving convictions in the past 18-months
