Job Description

Ironworker ErectorRequired Immediately in Ontario in a Camp EnvironmentTemporary Full-Time Labour Dispute AssignmentsPaid Travel, Meals, Accommodations, and Days OffWhat is in it for you: Up to $5963.00 Weekly with Overtime Hours in Camp Environment Scenario

  • $48.66 per hour base rate / $100.00 per day camp environment premium
  • Paid Overtime after 44 hours per week
  • Paid Training provided
  • Travel, Accommodations, and Meals Paid or Provided
  • Paid Days Off
Job Specific Requirements:
  • Must be able to lay out; fabricate; erect or make repairs to all types of structural and plate work; perform welding; dismantle, erect, or move heavy equipment and structures in the plant maintenance or construction.
General Requirements:
  • Must have a minimum of Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and the ability to successfully complete all aspects of the recruitment process including but not limited to a physical assessment, and a general aptitude evaluation.
  • Related Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree (in various trades, manufacturing techniques, pre-apprenticeship) and/or relevant industrial work experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator, a Scott Air pack (clean-shaven), be comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions as well as perform physical labour.
  • Must be able to work safely and effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to understand and follow plant safety and production policies and procedures.
  • Must be able to develop and maintain effective relationships; this includes good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to work independently, through demonstrated organization, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative in recognizing opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated computer skills with the ability to work with key computer programs (e.g., word, excel), mobile applications, and various production systems.
