  • Compute & Storage: Manage our cloud architecture and cloud environments as well as our existing on-premises server compute and storage infrastructure
    • Play a leading role in designing and maintaining all cloud systems including the front-end platforms, servers, storage, and management networks
    • Regularly evaluate cloud and on-prem applications, hardware, and software ensuring adherence to industry best practices
  • Access Management: Oversee identity and access management for all user accounts, network accounts, and permissions across all line of business applications
  • Domain Services: Administer and manage domain services in a hybrid Active Directory environment including ADDS, DHCP, DNS AD CS, IIS, File and Storage Services, RDS and Group Policies.
  • Microsoft 365 administration: Manage all applications and services including Exchange Online Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Backup and Recovery: Take ownership of backup and recovery solutions and ensure that all necessary systems and data are backed up and can be reliably restored. Ensure systems are designed and implemented with High Availability and Disaster recovery
  • Security & Data Protection: Ensure systems security against data compromise, malware, viruses, and assist to provide cybersecurity awareness Work closely with IT security vendors to monitor the on-prem and cloud environments
  • Maintain and document security related policies, procedures for service operations
  • Partner with internal users and external vendors for respective IT processes, activities, system changes, and projects including research and recommend systems improvements
  • Assist helpdesk and resolve issues to restore service to the customer in a timely manner
  • Assist with desktop software update and asset management tools
  • Provide on-call (weekends) and after-hours support as and when assigned.
What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science or related field
  • Five (5) years’ experience as system administrator or IT network infrastructure support with a focus on customer service and technical assistance
  • Experience with mid to large size server operations including daily operations and maintenance as well as project-based work such as migrations, upgrades etc.
  • Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting, and managing server environments
  • Proficient with Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, SharePoint and Exchange
  • Proven experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure) administration and Azure Active Directory Services with experience migrating applications to the cloud.
  • Experience with managing virtualized hosts and guest virtual machines on both Hyper-V and ESXi
  • Experience with SaaS and PaaS in Microsoft Azure and other cloud providers.
  • Experience with storage architecture and SAN technology
  • Solid Microsoft Office 365 administration experience
  • Experience with MDM solutions such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF
  • Experience with alerting systems such as Nagios and PagerDuty
  • Experience with networking fundamentals (network administration, design, management, implementation, monitoring) for advanced troubleshooting
  • Solid understanding of IT Security, Network and authentication concepts
  • Exposure to Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery best practices
  • ITIL Fundamental certificate is a bonus
  • A passion and curiosity for solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches
  • Keen attention to detail and orientation towards accuracy
  • Some experience with scripting languages and automation technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, customer oriented and cool tempered
  • Preference for bilingual (English/French)
  • Ability to focus in a fast paced environment and multitask
