Southern Plains Co-op is hiring for a Bakery/Clerk Supervisor for our Carlyle Food Store location.Who we are: Co-op does business differently. As a co-operative, we believe in working together to serve Western Canadians, delivering profits back to our communities and investing in sustainable growth.What youll do: · Ensure prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service is provided and high levels of customer satisfaction is maintained at all times.· Responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the Deli/Bakery department.· Monitor to ensure product is safely received and stored.· Identifies issues and areas for improvement within the Deli/Bakery department in-store experience.· Provide leadership to the team through scheduling and assigning work, anticipating needs, coordinating training and development.· Provide operational oversight in the absence of the Deli/Bakery department Manager.· Promote and ensure all company, safety and regulatory policies and procedures are met.· Be familiar with and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the co-operative and Government legislation.· Be familiar with and adhere to Southern Plains Co-op policies and procedures.Who you are: · You have a positive, professional approach and attitude.· You have strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.· You have 1 year of experience in retail and/or customer service, with supervisory experience.
