This position is in Cargill’s agricultural supply chain business, where we seamlessly connect farming customers with food, feed and industry.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Territory Sales Manager will help sell a portfolio of the companys technical and nontechnical products, services and solutions directly to current and new customers. In this role, you will proactively build knowledge of the business, financials, products and services, the market or account needs. Key AccountabilitiesInform customers of our new products, services and prices.With general supervision, build, monitor and revise lead generation plans to develop substantive sales opportunities.Help assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services and solutions.Support development and delivery of sales bids, proposals and presentations and help conduct product demonstrations.Help execute medium to long term sales plans, supporting strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with targeted customers.Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assigned QualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experienceSales work experienceMinimum of two years of related work experience in the Canadian grain industry, agricultural production or farm managementPossess a valid Canadian Full Class 5 Driver’s Licence in good standing, authorizing you to drive independently during the course of your employment.Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of grain and crop input operations and productsCCA certification or ability to gain oneExperience using customer relationship management softwareWork experience in leadership rolesPosition InformationRelocation assistance will not be provided for this position.Cargill is an equal opportunity employer and committed to providing accommodation to our job applicants with disabilities.Quick Apply
