  • Degree or Diploma in a discipline related to natural resources and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in resource management.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in a management capacity dealing with politically sensitive issues.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the management of financial resources, projects and multi-disciplinary professional and technical staff.
  • Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.
  • Experience developing processes, procedures and practices to support work team and/or business delivery.
  • Experience working with Indigenous communities, including facilitating consultations and/or negotiations.
Preference may be given to those with the following:
  • Experience negotiating and resolving conflicts resulting from statutory and/or resource authorizations.

  • Must possess and maintain a valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence or equivalent.
