Drivers needed for rural FedEx delivery routes in/out of Castlegar:- One to two days per week (10 - 20 hours) to handle deliveries and pickups in addition to the occasional holiday coverage for other drivers which could require five consecutive days with notice- Typical days are 7AM - 5PM – be home for dinner!- Previous delivery experience preferred, however will train strong candidates- Need valid Class 5 (non-commercial) driver’s license, clean driving record and no criminal record- Daily driving distance of approximately 400km making 30+ brief stops per day- New AWD Ford Transit with automatic transmission, equipped with shelving, hand trucks, etc.- Must be comfortable driving in all seasons, including winter conditions- Must be capable of loading/unloading packages of up to 150 lbs.
