Job Description

As we continue to grow our fully-integrated mass timber and sawmill company, we’re searching for individuals who enjoy a hands-on approach to work tasks and thrive in a team-based environment.Finishing Team role and objectives:We are excited to expand our team at Kalesnikoff Mass Timber and are looking for a diverse range of employees to join our inclusive workplace on our Mass Timber Finishing Team. The role will include sanding, staining and finishing wooden beams and panels with light power tools. Training will be provided. Compensation starts at $25/ hour, and there are plenty of opportunities to advance.Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A commitment to safety in the workplace
  • An appreciation for woodworking projects
  • Eager to learn and grow
  • Accommodating and willing to support others as required
  • Able to work a rotating schedule with morning shifts, afternoon shifts and weekends
  • Physically capable of performing repetitive movements and occasionally lifting up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to work independently and cooperatively within a team
  • Experience in a production environment would be an asset
  • Woodworking experience would be an asset
  • Familiarity with the use of small, handheld power tools would be an asset
