Working in a residence is more than a professional experience, it is a life experience and rewarding responsibilities with a golden clientele! We offer stable schedules, advantageous conditions and the opportunity to make a significant difference in the daily lives of our residents. We are currently looking for an assistant butler to fill a permanent full-time position, 4.0 hours per week, available days, evenings and weekends.ADVANTAGEOUS SALARY.ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Any other related tasks requested by the maître d #39;hôtel
  • Assist the butler in his tasks
  • Collaborate in the safety of residents and staff by ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in the dining room
  • Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork
  • Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team
  • Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort
  • Manage, coach and train dining room staff
  • Participate in table service with your team of waiters
  • Present the daily menus, the à la carte menu and answer residents #39; questions about food and cooking, in collaboration with colleagues in the kitchen
  • Take care of the cleanliness of equipment and workspaces
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in personnel management
  • knowledge of a Maitre D #39;s responsibilities (an asset)
  • At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration
  • General knowledge of wines
  • Training in catering and/or hospitality an asset
  • Flexibility and availability in terms of schedules
