Job DescriptionUnder the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Electromechanic performs maintenance, repairs and upgrades of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and automated components, according to health and safety standards and in order to restart production equipment as quickly as possible.
  • Diagnose and repair or replace components;
  • Read hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical plans;
  • Perform various preventive maintenance tasks;
  • Use machining tools to manufacture the parts necessary for the repair, maintenance or assembly of machines;
  • Participate in the installation or improvement of production equipment;
  • Ensure that the work is done impeccably within a reasonable timeframe in order to limit production stoppages;
  • Constantly seek improvement, correction or implementation of new procedures in order to increase productivity and eliminate problems at the source;
  • Establish a constant communication with the operators about the various jobs you perform on the machinery;
  • Collaborate with the various departmental activities;
  • Ensure that a clean, safe and organized work environment is maintained at all times;
  • Continuously seek out new knowledge;
  • Perform all other related tasks.
The Weekend-Day shift offered is 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Friday to SundayQualifications
  • DEC in industrial mechanics;
  • Diploma in electromechanics;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the manufacturing industry;
  • Basic knowledge of cutting, manufacturing and welding tools;
  • Ability to read plans, sketches and service bulletins;
  • Good knowledge of French and English spoken and written;
  • Results-oriented and customer service oriented;
  • Autonomy, thoroughness, proactivity and problem solving.
