Job Description

As a retail Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our customers. You will collaborate with healthcare providers, offer medication therapy management services, and contribute to the overall health and wellness of our customers.Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and process prescription orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide counseling to patients on medication use, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy, resolve medication-related problems, and improve patient outcomes.
  • Conduct medication therapy management (MTM) services, including comprehensive medication reviews, adherence assessments, and medication action plans.
  • Maintain and update patient records to track medication therapy and outcomes.
  • Participate in health and wellness programs and provide health-related guidance to customers.
  • Assist in the management of inventory, including ordering and restocking medications.
  • Oversee the safe storage and disposal of medications according to regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pharmacy practice and healthcare to provide the best care to customers.
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.
Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited pharmacy program.
  • Current and valid state pharmacist license.
  • Clinical pharmacy experience or certification is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and compounding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy software and technology.
