Job Description

Cowichan Valley Minor Hockey Association is seeking a part-time Office Administrator. The function of the Administrator is to assist the members of the Board of Directors in completing the duties of their portfolios and to maintain communication with CVMHA members.This position is generally part-time (10-20 hrs per week) with seasonal variations requiring additional hours during the months of August to April.The responsibilities will include but are not limited to:· Oversee and facilitate the day to day administration of CVMHA· Register all players and ensure they are properly registered on the Hockey Canada website and that all monies are collected in accordance with that registration.· Secure and allocate all ice.· Attend and provide administrative support at monthly board meetings.· Manage bank accounts with our financial institution.· Pay all vendor invoices in a timely manner.· Prepare invoices to all parties owing funds to CVMHA.· Prepare yearly budget.· Ensure all coaching, team support staff and team managers records are up to date and in compliance including completed course and criminal record checks.· Maintain social media outlets.· Works with other organizations and team managers with Team Snap.· Tournament liaison.· Responsible for HiSports.Skills and Experience:· Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task.· Flexible and adaptable to changing work schedule and seasonal demands.· Prior minor hockey knowledge required.· Ability to work independently.· Computer fluency including Microsoft Excel and Word.Job Type: Part-timePart-time hours: 10-20 per weekSalary: $22.00-$24.00 per hourWork Location: One locationApplication deadline: 2022-09-26Quick Apply
