We continue to grow in our industry by ensuring all employees possess the following core competencies: customer focused, team player, engaged, ethical, strong communication skills, and works safely.Job PurposeProvide technical and application support for EnerSys products and services, in the assigned area against profitable margins and in line with the business plan, in order to contribute to the realization of service-related sales and service targets.Location: EdmontonEssential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follows all company policies and procedures as listed, but not limited to: warranty, safety, environmental, OHSA, DOT Hazmat, and ISO9000
  • Maintains a safe, orderly, and clean working environment
  • Is directly responsible for company assets, may include a service vehicle, parts inventory, tools, laptop and test equipment
  • Completes and submits reports as required
  • Coordination of shipping and receiving
  • Ensure calibration of tools as per the due date
  • Interacts with all levels of people, both inside and outside the company
  • Can provide some mentoring to Field Service Tech I on safety, quality, and company practices
  • Travel to customer sites to install, repair, and perform preventative maintenance to customer’s equipment
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Requires 2 – 4 years of related experience
  • Completion or RP101 or Systems equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Able to work safely with hand and power tools
  • Able to read with comprehension and write documents (such as customer correspondences, memos, and reports) in English and or French
  • Able to perform basic and some advanced math calculations and measurements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to make some recommendations to resolve issues in the field
Preferred Qualifications
  • A basic electrical understanding
  • The ability to use test equipment and interpret the collected reading/data
  • The ability to read electrical and construction schematics
  • Post-secondary certificate or diploma
