ZAG Community of Businesses is the parent company to seven 1-800-GOT-JUNK franchises across North America, headquartered in Calgary, AB.Hiring Immediately! Later dates available as well.We offer flexible schedules for FT or PT, permanent or seasonal summer students, as well as openings for highly motivated individuals who are looking for opportunities to learn and grow. Start in this role and learn about all the things that make a business successful with a career path that leads to Operations Management.Truck Team Member / Customer Service / Labour - 1-800-Got-JunkLocation: Office based in Calgary - SE.Our trucks are available for pickup city-wide!Compensation: $17/hr base + tips + bonuses (avg $22/hr all in)Availability: Part-Time & Full-Time (employees choice)We operate Mon-Sun starting at 7:30am.For Full-Time, we offer 4 days on, 3 days offYou are:

  • A customer service or sales connoisseur.
  • A fan of getting paid to workout and working outside.
  • Goal oriented and driven, love winning daily and monthly competitions.
  • A problem solver and extremely organized.
  • A team player and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Interested in learning a business from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: WOWing every customer with exceptional service and a great attitude.
  • Truck Operations: Safe operation of the "Junk Driving Machine".
  • Junk Removal: Heavy and light lifting and removal of "junk" from client locations (i.e. couches, chairs, appliances, yard, electronics, and garage junk)
  • Marketing: Engage in guerrilla marketing activities to increase revenue and put more money in your pocket.
  • Sales: Convert estimates into transactions.
Requirements:
  • Have customer service and/or sales experience.
  • Have a valid Class 5 drivers license (GDL ok)
  • 4+ years of driving experience, and a reasonably clean driving record because its more fun to arrive in one piece...
  • Be able to work full days, weekends, and some holidays - 10 hour days, a compressed workweek means you get 3 days off a week.
