Job Description

Our client is seeking a commercial real estate associate. Their primary focus is on commercial real estate law and lending while also supporting the firms bankruptcy group. This is a great opportunity to work on all types of commercialamp; industrial projects.Billable hour requirement of 1600 with large bonus structure.What you will do day-to-day:

  1. Consult with clients to assess their legal needs and determine the best course of action.
  2. Review and draft legal documents related to commercial and industrial real estate transactions, including purchase agreements, leases, and mortgage documents.
  3. Represent clients in court or arbitration proceedings related to real estate disputes, estate litigation, or corporate law disputes.
  4. Conduct legal research to keep up-to-date with changes in real estate law, estate law, and corporate law.
  5. Maintain accurate records of cases, billing, and client communications.
What you will bring to the role:
  • Called to Alberta Bar, in good standing
  • 3-8 years of real estate experience
