We are hiring an experienced hydrovac operator. Experience with HDD operations is an asset.Job Duties:· Operating Hydrovac truck in a safe and professional manner, without a swamper.· Execute logbook/pre-trip inspections.· Exposing all utilities/cutting holes for box placement.· Walk drill shot with driller/locator to ensure all utilities are exposed prior to commencing drill shots.· Execute paperwork to client’s requirements prior to dumping Hydrovac slurry.· Ensure you are wearing the correct type of PPE.· Inspect equipment.· Identify and remove unsafe or hazardous materials from job sites prior to each shift.· Such other duties and responsibilities as IronCreek may reasonably assign to you from time to time.Requirements:· Commitment to safety and environmental compliance.· Ability to safely operate hydrovac independently, without a swamper.· Valid class 1 or 3 drivers license with clean abstract.· Ability to understand locates.· Confined Space and Ground Disturbance are an asset.· Physically fit and able to work long hours, weekends when required.· Adhere to both Safety Policy and Drugamp; Alcohol Policy.Experience:· 1 Year on hydrovac working with underground utility.Benefits:· Available immediately.Schedule:· 20 on 10 offPlease note only successful candidates will be contacted.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $36.00 plus per hourBenefits:Dental careExtended health careSchedule:10 hour shift12 hour shiftSupplemental pay types:Overtime payWillingness to travel:75% (preferred)
