The Materials Planner will be responsible for the organization and distribution of tools and materials at the Detour Lake Mine. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Healthamp; Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.Organize, service and distribute maintenance materials associated with the operation of mobile maintenance;Identify, develop, and implement continuous improvement opportunities;Responsible for the component or part refurbishment process;Review inventory requirements (min/max, catalogue);Assist planners and Supervisors with material tracking; Manage material staging areas;Monitor critical spares;Monitor return to stock and scrap processes; Assist with shutdown/long term material planning and staging;Ensure all spares hold integrity;Update weekly material availability list;Perform research on items in the ERP (SAP) system and assist in physical counts and audits.WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Minimum High School Diploma or GED;Certification in a Maintenance trade preferred;Minimum of five years’ experience in an industrial/ mining setting;Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with inventory management software applications such as SAP;Excellent oral and written communication skills;Valid G Driver’s License;Good work ethic and strong attitude towards safety;Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Wordamp; PowerPoint.Your Work Schedule:Schedule: 14/14 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee.
