This is a great opportunity to amplify your purpose and contribute to meaningful, challenging work at the forefront of the energy sector.Bring your passion, your ideas, and let #39;s do this.DescriptionLocated out of our Cochrane Extraction Plant, the individual in the Student, Integrity role will report to the Integrity Supervisor and will be responsible for supporting Integrityamp; Process Safety Team at Inter Pipelines Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) Business Unit. They will assist in supporting the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of the business unit assets.Key Activities and Responsibilities:Pressure Equipment Inspection Preparation

  • Determine which corrosion monitoring locations (CML #39;s) on insulated vessels and piping need inspection ports installed. Create a list with equipment number, line size, operating temperature, accessibility, etc.
  • Take existing corrosion monitoring drawings from scanned binders and split the files up to individual pieces of equipment and add any missing CML #39;s to drawings.
  • Assist with creating inspection packages for NGL Facilities:
o Determine missing Inspection Test Plans (ITP #39;s) and generate ITP #39;s if required.o Add missing CML drawings to ITP #39;s and validate (add new CML #39;s and remove obsolete CML #39;s).o Input work orders into Maximo for all upcoming work.
  • Complete initial review of inspection results and flag anomalies to Inspectors.
Circuitization Support
  • Field sketch sulfuric acid, aboveground firewater, aboveground raw water, and glycol circuits.
  • Assist with editing existing corrosion control documents (red lining), ITPs, and inspection ISO #39;s.
  • Walkdown previously circuitized insulated piping and mark sections of insulated versus not insulated piping at CEP. Create list of insulation deficiencies for follow up with engineering.
Facility Integrity Project Support
  • Assist in organizing corrosion under fireproofing inspection data - visual inspection findings, damaged areas, ongoing repairs, age of fireproofing, etc.
  • Assist with organizing highline pipe support findings - status of individual repairs, areas completed, type of repair, engineering analysis requirements, etc.
  • Locate highline assessment priority 3 leaking valves and flanges and provide detailed list to maintenance.
  • Support in Performance Standard implementation process including Maximo data entry.
Data Support
  • Organize integrity folders in myContent into a standardized layout for NGL Facilities.
  • Extract files from historical folders and add them to the appropriate location in myContent.
  • Input data into Plant Condition Monitoring Software for final review.
  • Supporting the Integrity Engineers in the development of the Risk Based Inspection program development for NGL Facilities.
  • Assist in data collection and trending for process safety events that require detailed analysis.
Education, Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 3rd year Intern from a Canadian Engineering school in Mechanical or Materials Engineering
  • Demonstrated time management and attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to spend significant amounts of time in the field.
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be willing to travel to Ft McMurray
  • Valid Driver #39;s License with clear abstract
