Day and evening shifts are available. We are looking for part-time to full-time staff that can work every other weekend.Job Benefits:

The successful candidate’s areas of responsibility will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Ensuring resident-focused care that meets the needs of residents
  • Maintaining open communication with residents and their families
  • Assisting with personal care including eating, dressing, transferring, toileting, hygiene, grooming, and bathing as per residents’ care plans
  • Monitoring and noting any changes to patient care plans
  • Providing medication support and management
  • Providing cognitive, social, emotional, and spiritual support
  • Providing oral and dental care
  • Responding to all emergency situations
  • All other duties, as assigned
Key qualifications for this position will include, but are not limited to:
  • PSW certification
  • Valid First Aid/CPR certificate
  • Vulnerable sector screen and satisfactory professional reference
  • Previous experience in a LTC facility is required
  • Experience using PointClickCare (PCC) is required
  • Ability to accurately follow written and verbal instructions
  • Must be able to anticipate problems and use sound judgment and tact in handling confidential matters
