Job Description

POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Program Manager, Parking Development, the Assistant, Operations Support is responsible for collecting on-street parking data via camera-mounted vehicle, capturing real-time parking information used to support TPA’s business objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Program Manager and Coordinator, On-Street Parking Development to detail parking routes required for collection of required information.
  • Collect first-hand information from on-street paid parking environment, uploading data for further review.
  • Generate customized reports on a regular and ad hoc basis.
  • Compile and summarize regular updates on the on-street parking program for senior management review and consideration.
  • Conduct field investigations and audits of parking technology, as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Minimum 1-3 years’ relevant work experience in an operations environment.
  • Completion of some post-secondary education or specialized courses.
  • Previous experience with data analysis is considered an asset.
  • Experience communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Valid G driver #39;s license for the Province of Ontario with driving experience and a clean driver #39;s abstract (a current driver #39;s abstract must ne submitted as a condition of employment).
  • Previous experience safely navigating downtown Toronto traffic in varying weather conditions is required.
  • Flexible to work a variety of shifts including, days, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Time management, attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage goals, timelines and targets, and prioritize work.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and part of a team.
  • Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of MS office applications (e.g. PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
