POSITION SUMMARYReporting to the Associate Director, Information Management and Security, the Data Architect ensures that enterprise data is clearly defined and architected appropriately and maintained with integrity and high performance.The Data Architect leverages their database knowledge to collect and analyze data to assist in day to day business issue resolution and decision making. The role will involve the design, testing, implementation, and maintenance of data models, structures, definition, and lineage for both on-prem and cloud native applications. This will be executed by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting issues and resolving production problems along with supporting users by developing documentation and assistance tools. Candidate has autonomy to research and deploy the best tool/technology for the task at hand, including but not limited to libraries for statistical modeling, geospatial analysis, ML, NLP, graph theory, timeseries analysis, and more.RESPONSIBILITIES
