This is a great opportunity to learn and grow in the Brand Marketing team. The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for assisting the Brand Manager in the development and implementation of marketing campaigns to support and drive student recruitment and brand awareness of Yorkville University and its programs, both domestically and internationally.The Assistant Brand Manager will use their understanding of creative production process to manage project life cycle from kickoff to delivery. This role requires an ability to communicate effectively with internal and vendor teams to drive decisions and next steps. They will have experience in e-mail and ad unit development.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESA. Project ManagementWork with internal resources to help create domestic and international marketing campaigns associated with the Yorkville University and its programs.Manage a streamlined workflow with internal and external teams, including print (brochures, presentations), digital (CRM, web & ads) and video where applicable with a focus on process efficiencies.Set up project timelines and meetingsEnsure that project tickets are set up for production and updated regularlyManage the approvals’ and sign-off processEnsure that all brand assets used in advertising align with relevant legal requirements (collect usage waivers, conduct compliance reviews).Provide regular status reports on all priority projects.Traffic project assets using marketing automation toolsB. AdministrativeCollect stakeholder input and update marketing assets (website, collateral etc.) accordingly.Manage and update a database of project documentationEnsure program information and policies are accurate and up to date across all channels.Monitor webpage content and performance for assigned programs, using internal and external resources where appropriate.Manage communication with external teams.C. ResearchAssist the Brand Manager in the research, drafting and completion of reviews (for example: a comprehensive competitive review), both for domestic and international markets.At the team level, assist with analyzing data for campaigns and overall performance of marketing for their programs.Monitor brand’s social media and conduct social listeningPOSITION PROFILEA. Education and Experience2-4 years of full-time (or equivalent) experience in digital marketing, advertising and/or brand management including digital marketing, social media and traditional media.Diploma or degree in business/marketing, project management or similar fieldsInternal or external creative agency experience a plusB. Skills and AbilitiesAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyCan juggle multiple tasks during the course of the dayAbility to take direction and prioritize tasks effectivelyHighly organized and strategic project managerExcellent communication skills, with particular emphasis on writing skillsMeticulous about tracking, record keeping and reporting – able to understand, develop and manage marketing reportsExpert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite An understanding of data analytics and media planning will be considered an assetFamiliarity with Marketo and Asana will be considered a plusC.
