Manager, Distribution and SupplyReporting to the COO, the Warehouse and Logistics Manager is responsible for managing the WCDGlobal Warehouse(s), including inventory management for thousands of SKUs, supply chain optimization,warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, logistics/shipping, etc. Dealing directly with clients andmanagement, this position will be responsible for all day-to-day movement and storage of material. TheWarehouse and Logistics Manager will collaborate with internal teams to understand, achieve, andexceed business objectives.Responsibilitiesï‚· Develop and implement a global supply chain and logistics strategy aligned with the company #39;sbusiness objectives and growth plansï‚· Manage warehouse functions and personnel, overseeing all activities from receipt to deliveryï‚· Develop and maintain inventory control procedures according to industry best practicesï‚· Develop and maintain inventory database, ensure establishment of maximum and minimum stocklimitsï‚· Investigate inventory variances, find root causes, and develop solutionsï‚· Prepare monthly reports on inventory activities and variances for multiple warehousesï‚· Oversee all aspects of WCD Global including opening and closing the main warehouse, settingstandards for satellite warehouses and maintaining the general appearance, organization andcleanlinessï‚· Responsible for key warehouse functions including fulfillment, shipping, and receiving, inventorymanagement and retail distributionï‚· Increase sales at WCD Global through the provision of excellent customer service to clientsï‚· Prepare and maintain all associated paperworkï‚· Work collaboratively with operations staff to ensure a smooth flow of tasksï‚· Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met or exceededï‚· Monitor Max/Minï‚· Other duties as assignedRequirementsï‚· Proven experience (10+ years) in global supply chain and logistics management.ï‚· Degree or diploma is considered an assetï‚· Minimum 2 years warehouse experienceï‚· Strong communication skillsï‚· Willing to take responsibility and act independently when necessaryï‚· Good organization and reporting skillsï‚· Strong customer service skillsï‚· Ability to multitaskï‚· Ability to efficiently use Microsoft Office and learn new programsï‚· Knowledge of NetSuite is an asset
