Job Description

IKON Complete Inc. is a Recruitmentamp; Search Firm specializing in identifying,amp; sourcing top performers for our clientele. Our clients include industry leading organizations who partner with us to be an extension of their HRamp; Recruitment function. Position: Product / Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: Vaughan, ONSalary: $70,000 - $100,000 yearly (Depending on experience)Industry: Manufacturing / HVAC/ Industrial/ Design/ ISO 9001Employment Term: Full Time / PermanentSchedule: In-office position (Currently hybrid)Rolesamp; Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements for the new product development.
  • Conceptualize and design components and systems, considering functionality, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Utilize Software to create detailed 3D models, prototypes, and technical drawings for the manufacturing process.
  • Conduct thorough analysis, and test to validate designs and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Work closely with the suppliers and internal departments to oversee the production process and address any design-related issues.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of all processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualificationsamp; Experience:
  • Engineering Degree in Mechanical/ Applied Science or equivalent.
  • P. Eng designation would be a definite asset.
  • 4+ years of design experience preferably in a manufacturing environment in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge with proficiency in 3D Modeling Software such as Autodesk Inventor and other relevant engineering tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and ISO 9001/ ISO 14001.
  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.
