  • Lead and Inspire: Be the driving force behind a team of skilled technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance shop.
  • Plan and Optimize: Strategically manage maintenance schedules, inventory, and resources to maximize fleet uptime and minimize costs.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Prioritize the safety of your team and ensure adherence to all regulations, promoting a safety-first culture.
  • Embrace Technology: Leverage our advanced electronic maintenance system to track repairs, manage inventory, and optimize efficiency.
  • Build Relationships: Foster strong communication and collaboration with vendors, internal stakeholders, and your team, ensuring everyone is aligned and informed.
Requirements
  • Proven Leadership: Demonstrate a track record of successfully leading and motivating teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of automotive and heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, with knowledge of various systems and components, supported by 10+ years of hands-on experience as a technician.
  • Industry Certifications: Hold vocational or college certifications in relevant areas such as diesel and gasoline engine repair. Experience with medium and heavy truck repair is highly desired.
  • Management Experience: Demonstrate at least five years of experience in a supervisory role within a shop or maintenance environment.
  • Organizational Prowess: Showcase exceptional organizational skills, effectively managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exhibit a natural aptitude for troubleshooting, quickly identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime and ensure operational continuity.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate clear and concise communication, building rapport and fostering trust with individuals at all levels of the organization.
