Are you a highly motivated Apprentice looking to improve your skills and advance your careerVanMech Plumbing and Heating is hiring 2nd , 3rd and 4th Level Apprentice Plumbers to join our crew in the Lower Mainland! WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU

A DAY IN THE LIFEAs a 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Level Apprentice Plumber, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing services. Here’s what you can expect in your role:
  • Working alongside experienced professionals to refine your skills.
  • Expertly installing, repairing, and maintaining all materials, equipment and systems.
  • Performing routine inspections to comply with applicable regulations and codes.
  • Assisting in diagnosing and troubleshooting plumbing issues.
  • Supporting with the completion of all service documents and performance reports.
  • Constructing and installing plumbing systems primarily for tenant improvement, commercial and multi-residential plumbing projects.
  • Utilizing your working knowledge to help develop creative and effective plumbing solutions.
  • Maintaining a clean workspace and company service van to ensure productivity.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
  • You’re a 2nd, 3rd or 4th year Plumbing Apprentice with at least 2 years of field experience.
  • You have your own basic hand tools and steel-toed boots for your first day on the job.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication when interacting with the team and clients.
  • Maintain a friendly and positive demeanor to build good team morale.
  • Ability to stay motivated and drive productivity without supervision.
  • Present and conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to maintain productivity without supervision.
  • Reliable and dependable team player that shows up on time.
  • Strong understanding and exposure to industry safe work practices (safety is huge for us).
  • Tech-savvy with a willingness to learn new systems and technology.
