They are very professional, but also believe company culture is also very important, they provide regular team outings, BBQs and bowling nights!ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITYBe a part of a property management and strategy company. This position is a great way to start off your career in maintenance!ABOUT THE POSITIONYou will be hands on and responsible for ensuring smooth operations of the commercial properties across, but not limited to, Surrey and Delta. The role requires you to have experience in general maintenance in order to troubleshoot, carry out and complete work orders as well as identify faults where additional trades may be required. A vehicle will be required to travel to various sites in order to complete preventative maintenance checks as well as attending to maintenance emergencies.Some of your duties will include:Conducting preventative maintenance inspections across their commercial portfolioCarrying out general maintenance including but not limited to minor electrical, plumbing and drywall repairs.Responding to work orders for emergency call outs and providing quotes.Completing preventative maintenance checks.Liaising with contractors for larger projects.JOB REQUIREMENTSValid drivers license and access to a vehicle.Previous experience dealing with tenants.Mobile – willing to work out of vehicle and drive a lot.Previous experience doing minor repairs (drywall, electrical, plumbing, etc.)COMPENSATION$50,000-60,000 per annumIncluded is $3 an hour to cover driving costs incurredPaid overtimeExtended medical and dental – 50% contribution2 weeks vacationHOW TO APPLYPlease reply with a Microsoft Word version of your resume to: *******@impactrecruitment.ca or visit www.impactrecruitment.ca to apply online.Privacy and confidentiality are important to us; as such all applications are kept strictly confidential.
