Sound like youJOB SUMMARYAs a key member of the Software Quality Assurance team, the Performance Test Lead will be responsible for driving a team with expertise in performance testing and optimization of software applications / systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, executing, and analyzing performance test results using industry-standard tools.A team of four or more offshore performance testers will report into this position and the team lead will manage the performance testing scope for a suite of software applications. This role requires proficiency in scripting and working with modern performance testing frameworks and monitoring tools.ESSENTIAL DUTIESamp; RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team to Design and execute performance, scalability, and load testing for complex systems.
• Develop and maintain test scripts using tools such as JMeter and scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or Java.
• Analyze performance test results, identify bottlenecks, and work with teams to implement improvements.
• Monitor and gather metrics using tools such as Grafana, Kibana, and Elasticsearch.
• Build and maintain test environments, leveraging Docker and containerized setups.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Create comprehensive performance testing documentation, including test plans, scripts, and results reports.
• Ensure systems meet performance and reliability requirements under expected load conditions.
• Lead a team of offshore performance test engineers based in Latin America
• Provide technical guidance, direction, coaching, mentoring to team members and oversee the delivery of commitments across all team members

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or other related disciplines
• 5+ years of experience leading a performance test team with successful results
• Hands-on experience performance testing tools, including JMeter.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or Java.
• Experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Kibana, and Thanos.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker)
• Familiarity with Elasticsearch and distributed systems.
• Analytical skills to identify bottlenecks and optimize system performance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence and Zephyr is desirable
• Experience with Source Control Management Tools (Git/Bitbucket)
• Experience defining / gathering non-functional requirements (NFR’s)
• Experience with Azure Cloud environments is desirable
