Medical Arts Pharmacy is an independent pharmacy with two locations in Cornwall. We are committed to making a genuine difference in the lives of our community by providing exceptional pharmaceutical care while ensuring every customer feels valued and heard.Applicants must possess:• A degree in Pharmacy and a license in Ontario, and be in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists• Solid full time pharmacist experience in Ontario would be an asset• Excellent communication skills in English; additionally, French would be an asset• Exceptional customer service skills, as well as have a collaborative approach to working with all other pharmacy team staff• A strong desire to deliver excellent patient care in an empathetic and warm manner: providing answers to questions pertinent to common medical needs (i.e., diabetes, asthma, smoking cessation, high blood pressure), counsel and train patients on proper use of medical devices and supplies, and partner with healthcare professionals to review the quality and effectiveness of drugs, providing advice on usage and observed side effects.• An ability to work efficiently and with a high degree of accuracy• An understanding and interest in providing services under the expanded scope of practice• Experience in Nursing Homes and geriatrics is an assetJob Type: Full-timeExperience: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: In personBenefits:
