Kyte delivery service has been serving the Comox Valley and beyond with residential, business deliveries as well as light duty mid island courier service for over 20 years.We are looking for a couple more drivers to join our courier team.Drivers must be friendly, reliable and accountable. Our driver are owner operators. Must have own clean, fuel efficient vehicles. For this position we are looking for hatchbacks, wagons, or mini vans, a small SUV will be considered. A cell phone that is able to receive unlimited texts. Must have BC drivers license, valid BC insurance, that can be upgraded to delivery insurance. This is a paid per delivery position.Tasks will include starting in your home town, generally around 8-9am. Receiving orders from dispatch , serving customers in a timely, friendly manner. Good knowledge of your home town and towns within a 100Km radius is a asset.Shifts could be longer then 8 hoursThis opening is for our Courier Department. We are accepting applications from Courtenay, Campbell River, Parksville, Nanaimo, Duncan and Victoria. Applicants will be starting in their home town, and will be driving a full route from start location to one of the following, Parksville/ Port Alberni or Nanaimo could develop into also going to Duncan or Victoria. Each route is 350Ks and up, so must love to drive, and be able to organize multiple order in their car at once, and plan their own route. Calls will come in while on route as well.For this position you would be starting in the morning 8-9am dependingon route, applicant must be accountable to schedule. Shifts can be 6-12 hours depending on applicants needs.Ideal applicant would be available, for day shifts. Full time could be offered, depending on the availability of the applicant.
