Come join the lift operations team! We are currently hiring Lift Operators for the summer season.Lift Operators play a key role in alpine resort operations. As a Lift Operator, you will be a regular point of contact for guests, providing a positive experience and exceeding guests’ expectations.This is a physical, outdoor position. Most of your time will be spent outside, working in all weather conditions. You must remain alert and pay close attention to the lift and the guests.We offer great benefits! Please see our website for more information: https://hr.mountwashington.ca/Responsibilities:As a Lift Operator your responsibilities will include:Complying with all company policies and safety procedures.Being spatially aware of your surroundings and working in a safe manner.Safely operating your assigned lift including daily start up & shut down procedures, and maintaining loading/unloading ramps.Assisting guests, including children, load and unload from chair lifts.Instructing guests on the proper use of the Euro Bungee Trampoline.Validating all guest’s tickets and ensuring no misuse or fraudulent activity.Completing tasks on daily checklists.Reporting on time, alert, fit and ready to work.Exhibiting a positive, upbeat attitude.Maintaining a high level of customer service and assisting guests in a friendly, courteous, and helpful manner.Maintaining a respectable level of personal appearance and caring for your issued uniformAssisting Patrol in Lift Evacuations when required.Completing additional tasks as requiredAdditional duties as directed by the Lift Operations Supervisors or Lead Hand, such as lawn & gardening maintenance.Required Experience & Qualifications:As a Lift Operator, you will be:Safety-oriented, energetic, friendly, and sociable with a flair for customer service.Dependable with a strong work ethic.An excellent communicator and team player, yet also able to work alone.Physically fit to move and lift chairs, load and unload mountain bikes, and assist guests when required.Passionate for the outdoors and able to work in all weather conditions.Previous customer service and/or labour experience is and asset but not required.How to ApplyExpiring: Aug 31, 2021Quick Apply
