Job Description

NJM Construction is a family run construction companylooking to add a (skilled) labourer to our crew. Wage will be dependent on experience and training/tickets. Get your foot in the door with this rapidly growing company.Construction / Skilled LabourerDuties:

  • Preparing construction sites, materials, and tools.
  • Loading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Removing debris, garbage, and dangerous materials from sites.
  • Assembling and breaking down barricades, temporary structures, and scaffolding.
  • Various aspects of construction and demo for installation of siding, windows, doors, flooring, finishing work.
  • Measuring, taping, and cutting with accuracy.
  • Using power tools. (Saws, grinders, nailers, compressors etc)
Requirements:
  • No formal qualification is required although similar work experience or training is preferred and will be reflected in the wage.
  • Willingness to learn and to undergo training if necessary.
  • Be respectful, level-headed, and a team player.
  • Ability to take direction with a good attitude.
  • Be healthy, strong, and fit - Able to lift at least 50lbs.
  • Work well alone or with a crew.
  • Transportation to and from job sites.
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $18.00-$25.00 per hourSchedule:
  • 8 hour shift
